Descrizione: PERFUS will be a virtual e-learning globe, act as world cube principle where to explore DATA with multidimensional approach in every relevant layers (themes) in a time & geographical axis regarding to the level of information (simpler or more detailed) user is searching for. It will be accessible from anywhere and it is for anyone, for all cultures. PERFUS aims to develop a professional web-based visual e-learning portal to support non-standard thinking, life-long learning, exploring and generating new knowledge with creating semantic transitions between users and DATA (or content) being sought, DATA and layers (themes), themes and index, finally between acquisition of users and index with advanced technological methods. System will provide related analysis, reports, outcomes and convert itself to be an expert learning system. Main objective is to ensure easy and multidimensional access of information or specifically searched DATA; created and documented in a virtual environment on earth, in a single web-portal. The content or the “DATA” being sought will be visually explored and learned by means of selecting the time (timeline bar), geographical locations on virtual globe (geographical bar) and the level of knowledge (level scroll bar) in a variety of themes that is only related to the DATA.
Finalità:
Developing a new learning model to widen the perspectives and make purposeful connections through “DATA” and its related themes/contents. The idea and phases of learning “hardly and forcibly learned lessons” will be replaced with “pleasurably, easily and comprehensive learned lessons” via innovative e-learning visually through computational tools and powerful relation based database. Disappearance of current “lesson content” concept as a learning tradition with much more effective and pleasurable way will encourage users for learning more new knowledge and foster creativity through exploring all related contents. System will measure, analyze and evaluate how user is accessing to DATA by tracking which paths/patterns are followed. With the use of acquired information, system will change its index structure and provide individual-learning approach unique to user or to a group of people (e.g. regional) and suggest best ways of learning or displayed paths of accessing to same DATA to another related group of users. System will be multilingual for different cultures’ access and will have an option for adding translations of various languages.
Supporting learning processes via visualized methods of e-learning and web documenting application and technology. Information -documented or documentable through time- will be provided via multimedia tools to support understanding and fostering imagination.
With unique, comprehensive semantic web-based portal; enhancing learning processes and accessing to knowledge easily will be supported by sorting out information regard to user’s choice with level scroll bar. Users will not face unnecessary, unrelated information anymore while they’re looking for the certain “DATA”. This will be achieved by meaning-centered semantic technology.
